I think Marksman with Rifle would be best. Since you can skill reset on Heaven Island's Skill Master NPC for free until level 40, you can try anything you want.

I'm taking full advantage of that right now as a Cinderblade, since it's hard to balance damage and survivability.

Yup, DEX gadget should play around with the skills in the Marksman tree.

Rapid Refire, Piercing Barrage and Seeking Shot always used to be the best ones. Maybe different here, maybe not...

after a lil trouble with registry frogster zombie entries, i am ingame now too; i m actually a lil annyoed by the fact that u have to go for one skill tree now (prob some ppl already know that from RU version which i havent played); cross or hybrid builds i like no longer seem to be any attractive as you just dont have enough skill points, sighs... /don't like that :(

Maybe... unless you only plan to take a few specific skills on a certain tree, and a few specific skills on other trees. The points used to unlock tiers go to stat bonuses anyway so they're not really much of a waste.

Maybe those above level 50 will be able to go hybrid, but it's probably best to stick to one tree on the early levels.
