Crash after startup
« on: February 10, 2012, 05:03:13 am »
After i start up the game i am hit with either the game is not responding, or "The instruction at 0x007407 cb referenced memory at 0x00000200. The memory could not be read" and game fails immediately.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
4 gigs ddr3 1333
2.5ghz quad core
1 gig ddr3 gfx

everything up to date, tried running as admin, compatibility mode running from both the launcher and application exe's, all fail.

FIX -- deleted update folder, file version, stringmsg folder, d3dx9_34.dll.

ran launcher, launcher failed due to missing files

restored all files, ran launcher again, it re updated version 1 and 2 works fine now

Well actually, Mr Genius,

If you rename the UpdateInfo file in the bin folder, that will force the updater to download and apply the updates again.

Certainly worked for me.
