Maybe he meant that a game cannot die for it did not live to begin with, it is merely a collection of zeroes and ones

Oh, i disagree, Mythos DID live (just remember the number of people joining Mythos EU Beta before), and there s still the chance for re animating it, all we need is a content update and a cash shop face lift  ;)

I agree with several comment that Bobcat has made in recent weeks, and here are my thoughts on the matte, like em' or not :P

A content update and a level cap increase isn't going to save Mythos now. For what imo the following reasons:
[shout me down for being sour/negative, but stop and think, and in the end you know I'm right]

Look at what is left of the community and the tiny number of high levels still playing.

Take into account the kind of comments that are occasionally made over on other Fora [Runic for example]
[here people are very much aware of the existence of Mythos Global, but also of the opinion that it isn't worth the effort and is dead in the water]

When the content update arrives, there will still be the same flaws in the game that there are now, just more of it to play, that's all.

Reducing the cash shop prices?. Hmm, well I think the bigger issue is who will be willing [other than a few] to spend cash in a game that there is little confidence that it will be there in a few months time.

Stamina, I've always thought that this only really affects the more hardcore/dedicated players. Not the high turnover, come and go, casual players that are the bread and butter that keeps a game like this alive.

Like it or not, the big two threats to Mythos are now upon us, D3 in a couple of weeks, and TL2 in a couple of months.
Be honest, how may of you have pre-purchased one, the other, or both [I know I have]

The question then is, will T3 keep this going when it gets REALLY quiet, while everyone is off playing the new games?

You know what might have been good? getting the game to work, i bet the non-launching issue drove like half the people away. and i woulda happily stayed if more people pvped, which coulda been easily solved by a bigger community number! the bugs and cash shop you could ignore. there werent any really big bugs, and you could get by without the cash shop.

*trying to launch the game this moment, still can't

I still want to play Mythos but don't want to grind same area over again. There are alot of missing content to get myself going again.
My favorite part is crafting but it's almost impossible with those reset costs and impossible when there are not all materials in this lvl cap. Grinding lvl 50 gear doesn't feel appealing because it will more likely be +- the same when the lvl 60 cap strikes.
Well web-login also pisses me off, because it takes insane time for my IE to load up after my pc have started FF, logging in is also pain in the ass. Takes about 5 minutes to get to the part where you press play.

Overall this game rocks, but unreleased content makes you hold back hardcore. Weak response from game developers themselves also is not a good point. Moderators reply and it's cool but we don't hear alot of official notes, but just speculations.

I also understand that pushing devs won't change alot, maybe will break them, but this is how it is, people are getting depressed, Myself i haven't played this game for a while now, it doesn't appeal to me to come back and farm up the gear i already farmed long time ago. Also my inventory bags are probably expired therefore i don't have a reason to play .. paying ~15$ just to be able to play this lvl 51 cap drags me away... for now...
