I hope you guys can inform the GM about fixing the bugs and even the AH in game instead of posting this.

wasn't it smth like "where have you learned about Mythos Global" , the other day? (nvm, it's still both)

anyways, I'm no english native speaker, but I think it should say "where did you hear about Mythos Global" ..

maybe at least you manage to 'fix' this 'bug' , if your developer seems to be unable to fix all the numerous 'real' ingame bugs & balancing issues..

also, for me personally, it's more like 'what' have you learned about Mythos Global rather than 'where'..

in a way, answering both questions, as you wanted to know,

the answer would be : "at frogster during the  Mythos Europe attempt which failed."

and the lesson 'learned' should have been

" Mythos was doomed since the very first second right after Flagship Studios/ Runic guys 'lost' it to Hanbit/T3 "

ergo: since it's the n-th relaunch since FSS,

I think I 'learned' that nothing has changed (to the better)..

same altered game version that is different from the original but not better per se,
no new bug fixes, balancing issues still unadressed, no new content,

still ridiculously high CS prices, and no 'proper' marketing, community management or game support.

maybe you should ask "why are you still here" , at least I am questioning myself.

well, not really... I don't pay & I don't play, so nothing to lose.

I don't believe it anymore, but still, even if there's only a 0.000000000001 % chance that anything will change that makes Mythos enjoyable for me again,
it's worth lurking around and reading the forums every now and then..

It's not that there's that much activity, so I won't even lose any of my precious time.

*thumbs up to this thread. great one*

be a lil more positive, Bobcat  ;) - and about the poll, seems you forgot the main option: "I played a prior version of Mythos before and still like it....."

@Bunnz: Haha. That's true but I guess you still heard of the revival of Mythos somewhere so. XD

@Bobcat: Yeah it's "hear." I don't know what happened to me why I misspelled that. XD Anyway, us, moderators are doing everything that we have in our capabilities to help the game. I'm not sure if it's enough, you probably think it isn't (thus, your post) but kindly understand that we have limits as well. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to make the community more active by coordinating with the players, the GMs, and the event organizers.

Its not fair to say that people found this game on a MMO site because I know for a fact that most people came across
this game by complete accident, the ARPG fans should in no way come across this game by chance. Mythos global
should have more press release, adverts and banners on MMO websites with New reviews.

I actually found out about mythos global via a mmo website last year when they announced it was making a come back
but for the record thats the only time since last year ive seen adverts on such sites other than those "give aways".

Lets be serious tho ok.... if t3fun was to organize more press release the player base would grow BUT it will be short lived
due to the ammount of bugs that have never been fixed, not to mention the bugs that come crawling out the woodworks
every so often IE the auction house (wtf) and yellow gates, not only the bugs but IMO the team that handle the event
prizes could be a little more hands on and deal with peoples rewards in a beter manor to make sure players recieve
there rewards.
Even the team that handle the Mail Inquiry are very sloppy with what seem like Auto responce most of the time and
silly inexperienced answers.

To me this sort of topic is puzzling  the only thing that comes to mind is the company want to know if they actually need
to expand there horizon and put adverts on websites, Or is there a sufficient ammount of players discovering mythos on mmo websites (thus the vote).
So the statement im trying to put across is, IF (and its a very big If) t3fun want to put out more adverts then everything I have mentioned above (and more) need to be addressed. If they are not and t3fun start to spend money on more press release then im afraid it will be a huge waste of money and time unless the issues have been delt with.

Im not so blind to realize that the suits dont care about us or the bugs and only want to generate money from the casual
players via the cash shop.
Im not sure if this is the responce you where expecting but thats my real thoughts and as you asked for comments.

This topic should be called "what did you hear about mythos" the answer is simple....all of the above and more.
Im doing my best to stay positive, Im always recruiting, giving out advice and making guides if any one wants a larger
player base its me.

peace.

PS: Ive actually been attempting to generate some player base my self and I think have been slightly successful
with over 800 forum views and still on page one even before my reply.

be a lil more positive, Bobcat  ;) - and about the poll, seems you forgot the main option: "I played a prior version of Mythos before and still like it....."

well, Bunnz.. I'm sure if you've seen some of my more recent threads I started (not all but some), you'll know that I am, after all.. or at least trying to ;)

It is sometimes hard to stay or be even a 'little' more positive tho, especially if it's about some issues where even after some hard thinking I hardly see anything positive in it, objectively..

Oh, don't you worry..  as measured by the overall activity, from all those few active people, there are a LOT of people really trying hard and maybe even giving their best to change things or at least not to let them become worse.
I know, for a fact, quite a few 'normal' players and 'moderators' as well, who really are..

-------------------------------
and as far as 'bad community management' goes, I didn't meant the moderators, because we still have them, and they are active, with replying and deleting spams, and doing those events and what not..

but instead I'm speaking of whoever is responsible for managing 'community mangamement/moderators' , so to speak..

in detail, I mean why they seem to refuse and don't care about making a more 'direct' or at least 'somehow working' connection,
between players, moderators, and game developers. that it is, what I'm missing badly.

no answers first-hand from game developers, regarding bug reports, answers to questions about how certain skills or game mechanics work, etc etc..
-------------------------------

so, by addressing 'you' in this matter and as in above post I usually mean the companies all behind this, responsible of who to hire for their projects, whom to pay money for this and that, etc..

since there is hardly any game fixes or content updates,  to me it could only mean that the publisher/dev or licensee seem sure about NOT investing MORE time, money and personnel into this project than they currently are..
which would mean if they're aware of the whole situation, they don't think or seem absolutely sure that it won't be of any more profit, for them, by doing so.

-------------------------------
if anyone in any case feels personally offended in any way, I'm sorry I didn't meant to, but then again also - honestly - can't say that currently I would care that much either, if someone is -or not. usually I do,

but in this case to me it was more important to try and state my personal honest opinion and objective way as I see things right now,
and if it seems a little negative, then that's okay because maybe it is..

I fully respect everyone around here who's posting on the forums, some are doing a really great job I think,
but don't feel disappointed if I come and say that - for me, personally, at least - it won't change much or do anything good in the long run, meaning in order to bring me back on to the servers, enjoing the game and supporting the publisher/dev/licensee financially by investing into the CS.

-------------------------------
a lot of people have different preferences etc,

in my case it comes all down to the CS, it's items that it is offering, and the prices for that said stuff.

I thould this would be crucial for the long-term survival of this game/servers over here..

It also, however, would be important  to me right now, for some reason I just don't want to play at all,
not without the help of auto-dismantle, identify and full inventory extension/expansions.
-------------------------------

after all, there are other games, and also other things to do..
I still wish however, Mythos was one of those, that I could still enjoy playing right now. (Which I'm not)

I found Mythos while looking for free to play MMO games on YouTube.  Really strange I know, but I was looking for a game like this so I watched a couple Tube videos and then gave it a try.  This is the first one that I watched, a review from MMOHut.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wU5CeapVDI8
