There are a dozen threads on this issue. Is this game even alive and running anymore? Has anybody told the devs that it straight up doesn't work for a lot of people right now?
The game is hanging indefinitely after you select a server, enter your 2nd password, and press confirm. A new window appears which is labelled "Guide" at the top, and it reads "Patching..." for its message. The mouse cursor turns to the hourglass and either I beat the game or there is something severely broken with it.
From the other threads, people have tried fresh reinstalls, launching from Chrome/Firefox/Internet Explorer, a number of compatability settings, and a ton of other stuff that's over my head. That's right, people that know much more about computers than me are claiming it's "game side", so why should I even bother trying?
